Alright, so here is a ranting that Ive wanted to talk about for a LONG while.
How many people have gone to a page that says in a box, "friends"?

How many of you read what was in that box, and saw, "best friends" "second best friends" "greatest friends" "My da family" "My #2 friend" "My #3 friend" and so on?
I know quite a few people on this site, one in particular, that tend to do that a lot. Im sick of people who put others on certain lists, but yet you see them update that friend list once or twice in an unnecessary manor once or twice a week. Here's a few things:
1. its rude.
2. It makes fun of those who arent on the "top friend list."
Its like reaching for a trophy, that has no reward.
Lets say I am on someone's list saying, "#7 best friend." Ill look at all the people above me, and think, "Gosh...Im not as good as those people." Or "Why am I even friends with this person, if Im just treated like a number?

Now, lets say you have a friend list, and you are just desperately getting as many friends as you can, just to make yourself look popular. Such as one person, who said hi to me, and I said hi back. Next thing I know, Im on their greatest friend list. No. Not right. I dont care if Im on their list, but all I know is that Im not their best friend. After that, they never spoke to me again. A year later, i see im still on that best friend list, along with perhaps 200 other people.
Deviantart is not Facebook. You dont friend people and then never talk to them, just so someone randomly pops by your page, sees all your friends, and thinks, "wow..they must be popular!"

No. they arent. Im sick of those friend lists. Im not a number. Im either your friend or best friend. Stop making others feel judged.
And Im not your friend unless I actually know you. So if you are looking to be popular, stop making those fake friends. we all know how to get them. Its easy. But in the end... its never fair.
